# Mjäll

Mjäll är döda hudceller som bildas på huvudets hårbotten och ses som vita flagor. Varför får man mjäll?
Varför vissa får mjäll är oklart. Det vi vet är att mjäll orsakas av svamp som finns i huden på vuxna. Besvären kan förvärras av starka hårvårdsprodukter som irriterar och torkar ut hårbotten, därför är det bra att undvika dessa om du har mjäll. Det finns både torr och fet mjäll. Torr mjäll flagnar av som snö, medan fet mjäll ligger som en gulaktig beläggning i hårbotten. Oavsett vilken typ av mjäll du har kan den behandlas med mjällschampo av något slag.
