Då Essie Weingarten 1981 startade sitt företag Essie hade hon sedan barnsben varit omåttligt intresserad av nagellack.
Att hon själv skulle börja tillverka det var alltså bara en tidsfråga och att hon dessutom visste vad hon gjorde råder det inga som helst tvivel om. Runt om i USA används hennes produkter av erkänt duktiga spa- och skönhetssalonger.
Det som utmärker Essies nagellack är nyfikenheten, fantasin och gränslösheten – det finns inte en färg som är för mycket och inte går att matcha till något.
