Önskvärda egenskaper hos en dagkräm är att tillföra fukt och näring till din hud samt att skydda mot yttre påfrestningar. Många dagkrämer innehåller dessutom solskyddsfaktor för att skydda ansiktet mot solens skadliga strålar.
