# Balsam

Ett balsam är ofta den avslutande delen av hårtvätten, och appliceras antingen efter schamponeringen eller efter hårinpackningen. När du applicerar schampo i håret så öppnar det upp hårets yttersta skikt för att få bort fett och smuts som fastnat där. Därför är det bra att använda ett balsam efter schamponeringen. Balsamet återsluter det skiktet och gör ytan slät och glansig igen. Ett balsam bidrar dessutom med mer fukt och gör att håret är mjukt och glansigt under en längre tid.
Balsam för olika hårtyper
Det finns olika typer av balsam med olika egenskaper, och vilket du ska välja beror på vad just ditt hår har behov utav. Ett torrt hår är i behov av fukt, och då är ett återfuktande balsam bra att använda. När man har torrt hår är det även extra bra att använda leave-in balsam. Du som har problem med att håret ofta blir fett bör istället använda ett milt balsam och satsa på att tvätta håret mer sällan.
